Window tint on Longboat Key.

Gulf light, all day

Longboat Key homes and condominiums are built to face the water, which means walls of glass facing the brightest part of the sky. Light reflected off the Gulf and the bay adds to direct sun, and afternoon heat and glare can make great rooms and lanais uncomfortable. Window film helps manage that intensity while keeping the view that defines living on the key.

Condominiums and towers

Many Longboat Key residences are in Gulf-front condominium buildings with uniform glass and appearance standards. Low-reflectivity films like 3M Prestige change the exterior look very little, which helps when association approval is needed. We provide specifications, samples and insurance documentation and work within building rules for access and hours. Read our guide to HOA and window film.

Protecting a seasonal home

Many owners spend part of the year away. Film that blocks most UV continues to protect floors, upholstery and art while the home is closed, without relying on shades. See UV protection film.

Impact glass

Most newer Longboat Key homes have impact-rated or laminated glass. Film can typically be applied, but we confirm glass type and manufacturer guidance first.
